Hey. I’m Sonja- the gal behind Press and Score.

A couple of decades ago, I decided to dive into stained glass. I bought a stack of glass, random materials, and as a fickle 20 year old often does, I stowed the goods away in my mother’s basement.

I decided to head back home to clear out said basement and pick up the supplies, eager to finally test out the craft. After taking my first stained glass class (at Wildcraft Studios in Portland- can’t recommend enough!), I was obsessed. Quite literally.

I hit the ground running, investing money in supplies and immediately started designing. Stained glass showed up in my dreams, I saw inspiration in shirts, wall paper, nature… you name it! Not only was the craft supremely inspiring to my creativity, it has quickly begun to be all I want to do with my time. You know how they say that if you love what you do, it won’t even feel like work? The moment I felt that wholeheartedly, I decided I would start up a business to do just that.

And here we are… at the beginning of a small business journey to create and collaborate and have a blast while doing it.

And about me:

Love: Retro color palettes, floral patterns, folk art, vintage, curating playlists, dancing, books, water in all its forms, animals (particularly my rascal pups Franny & Zoe- a lil tip-of-the-cap to Salinger), naps and tropical fruit.

Don’t Love: Assholes, traffic & giardiniera.
